9 - Adult
Students will learn the technique involved in singing and how to use their bodies to produce the best sound they can. This process is not an easy one and sometimes you will find Christie lying on the floor with her students doing breathing exercises…They all think she’s crazy, but it works every time! Christie draws on her performing experience, and uses it to teach vocal students not only how to sound great, but also how to really engage an audience. Students don't just sing in lessons, they perform, too. Focus is on a classical and musical theater technique, but it can easily be translated into healthy rock, pop, funk, and jazz vocals as well. Students will learn how to use their own voice and sound the best that they can. They will learn how to sing without hurting themselves. They will learn how to appreciate music and performing and to become artists!
6 - Adult
Piano students are given a well-rounded approach so they never feel frustrated or bored. They will learn from method books and theory books, but additional music will be added that each student enjoys in order retain their interest.
7 - Adult
As an acting coach, I will help find monologues, learn scenes and teach an approach to acting that is exciting! See Performance Philosophy. I will also help you learn the ins and outs of the business, ie. how to create a resume and find jobs.
